Presentation Evening - Seacourt Tennis Club Saturday 3rd March 2012

 This years presentation evening will again be held at the Seacourt Tennis Club, Victoria Avenue, Hayling Island.

The evening includes a three course dinner, presentation of trophies, quiz and raffle.

Cost is £20 adults, £10 juniors and the evening will start from 7.30pm. All members and guests are most welcome.

Butternut squash soup with a garlic croute

Coarse grain pork farmhouse pate with caramelised red onion chutney and granary toast

Smoked salmon in cream cheese abd dill on mixed salad leaves with crusty granary bread

Main Course

Pork tenderloin with caramelised apple confit and a dijon mustard sauce

Chicken filled with smoked bacon cream cheese and rosemary wrapped in bacon with a white wine sauce

Salmon fillet topped with french brie, spinach and pancetta served with a rich white wine sauce

All served with thyme and garlic roasted new potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Dessert

Raspberry creme brulee with homemade shortbread

 White chocolate tart with raspberry compot

Lemon mousse with crushed meringue

Congratulations to Paul Bray who becomes the club champion for 2011 after a very good year on both the beach and boats.
Matt Saunders finished ahead of Adrian Carter in the last boat match of the year to secure the runner-up spot.

Paul Bray also finished the year as boat champion, and narrowly missed out on a clean sweep of top honours when, in a very close finish in the final beach match, fell just 3oz short, and was pipped by just one point by Matt Saunders who becomes beach champion.

After a very enjoyable evening last year we are holding our second quiz night at Seacourt Tennis Club.

Junior Beach Series.

The first match in the 2010 Junior beach series will be held on Saturday 8th May from 7pm to 10pm at the coastguards station at Eastoke Corner.

The dates for the other nine matches will be announced very soon.
